Art can mean different things to different people. To some it can remind us of a time in our lives when all was well with the world and to others, it can simply evoke a feeling in us that inspires us to achieve things we previously thought were not possible. Art to me comes from the soul of the artist and is a great gift to the world.
Most of my work involves portraiture and nature. I have a great admiration for the beauty of nature. Nature is the most powerful force on this planet. With my art I try and convey to others just how beautiful and powerful it truly is. Whether I express this with wildlife, landscapes, or portraiture, I always try to instill in the viewer a since of peace and tranquility. My goal as an artist is to help the viewer feel connected with something larger than him or herself, to give the viewer a feeling of unity with the force that created us all.
